Abstract
This study, titled Prevalence and Risk Factors of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus among Patients at
Gihundwe District Hospital, investigates the prevalence of T2DM and identifies associated
risk factors among patients attending the hospital from January to June 2024. A retrospective
cross-sectional design was employed, analyzing data from 197 T2DM patients using
systematic sampling.
